Print Label

This function will print a label using any of the printers installed on the host computer. In the boxes at the top, choose the printer and font size used for the printed text. A barcode can also be included which will print on the label below the text. Both the barcode and text message can include variables that represent the current value of Screen Objects.

The barcode format used by ModCom is type 128 which is a widely used, high density, alphanumeric bar code that accepts numbers and both upper and lower case letters. The size of the barcode can be adjusted with the "Bar Size" box which sets the width (in mils) of the smallest bar in the symbol. Depending on the resolution of your printer and the type of printing stock, the size of the barcode may have to be adjusted in order to be scanned without errors.
